The Effects of Music on Cognitive Functions
A study shows that background noise and music negatively impacts our ability to perform several cognitive tasks compared to silence. It also shows that when the tasks require more complex thinking, music and noise are not preferred. In addition, the findings also show that noise and music affect introverts more than extroverts.
